A separate leaderboard is also present for Survival Courses participants. The game also supports online leaderboards which display the players' rankings of their performance song's rhythm games for Hard and above listed based on their score and average Completion percentage.
With Future Sound and Colorful Tone purchased, players may use Hairstyle Customisation which they can further customise their character by changing their character's hairstyle to that of another costume of that character. They require the player to spend VP which can be earned by clearing rhythm game charts (alternatively, players may purchase the Unlock Key from the PlayStation Store to instantly unlock all Modules in the game). Players may customise the characters in a variety of costumes (Modules) and accessories as to how they appear in a song's promotional video (PV) while playing its rhythm game. If the player purchases both Future Sound and Colorful Tone packs, the player may also attempt Survival Courses where they must play multiple song rhythm games in succession under one life gauge. Each rhythm game has a Practice Mode which the player may use to practice it from any point within the song's duration. At first, the player has only access to the Easy, Normal and Hard rhythm game chart difficulties of each song but by clearing Hard, the player can unlock the song's Extreme and Extra Extreme charts. The gameplay of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone is identical to Arcade Future Tone, although the control mechanics have been adjusted to suit the PlayStation 4's DualShock 4 controller. If Future had simply focused on these standouts, The Wizrd could be impeccable. Much like Scott's smash hit "Sicko Mode," the keys to both tracks are mid-song tempo switch-ups that surprise and excite in equal measure, the latter twisting an icy first half into a swirling thrill-ride closer that interpolates Future's own "Slave Master" from his 2015 effort DS2. Southside, Wheezy, Tay Keith, and Richie Souf are just a few of the producers who help maintain Future's hold on addictive trap soundscapes, elevating tracks such as "Jumpin on a Jet," "Crushed Up," "Talk Shit Like a Preacher," and the wild "Faceshot." Navigating through the glut of rumbling-bass anthems, surprises such as the tender (for Future) "Promise U That" and "Krazy But True" pair sweetly with searching bookends "Never Stop" and "Tricks on Me." Young Thug and Gunna guest on the passable "Unicorn Purp," while Travis Scott slaps his unmistakable charm onto "First Off." Lording above the pack, highlights "F&N" and "Baptiize" hypnotize with urgency and inspired production choices that jolt The Wizrd to life.
Issued in early 2019, the 20-song set features many of the same sounds and sex-money-drugs lyrics to which fans are accustomed, balancing booming anthems with moments of introspection - thus consolidating the Future and Hndrxx sides from his 2017 personality-splitting releases. Following his trio of Top Three collaborative mixtapes with Young Thug, Zaytoven, and Juice Wrld, Future revisits his Hndrxx persona with his seventh solo full-length, Future Hndrxx Presents: The Wizrd.
